DMA 101 - Florida Panthers Logo

This is for my new media tools class. Mine is on the left and the original is on the right.I have to fix a few small details. But this is what I have so far.

Photography

These are some of my photos from a photography class I took last year. We had to isolate an aspect of the photo in Photoshop.

My Grandmother's cat. Quite the model.

Leaves. They look kinda like clovers but i'm not sure if they are. Embracing the Irish in me.

I found this tree that looked like the leaves were a fan at Allan Gardens.

  

Now i'm embracing the English part of me. I am made of many different parts.

This is a statue in a pond at Allan Gardens.

Logo trace- DMA101

For DMA101 we have to trace a NHL/NBA logo. For practice I traced this Phoenix Coyotes logo.Mine is the one on  the left.The original is on the right. For the actual project i'm going to attempt the Florida Panthers logo.

This is a letterhead I had to design for print publishing class.

Rawr! I did not create the lion. I just traced it for my New Media Tools class. Pretty simple stuff.

Work From A Previous Creativity Class

Last semester I was in MFD These are a few assignments from my creativity class. We were given a term and had to make a piece that visually showed the term.

Over Exposure. I took a picture of dying weeds and and then turned up the brightness to suggest that the plants probably died from over exposure.

Repetition. I took a picture I had of a "wish" flower and took out a star shape from it and repeated the star shape to try and make it look like the petals were floating up and away. The repeated theme is wishes.
